Internet Acceses

We will provide access to UW-Wireless Network to all workshop participants. The wireless access are good at most locations on campus including Chamberlin Hall, Friedrick Center, Lowell Center, Memorial Union, and Union South.

To connect to the network with campus wireless, simply use your wireless client application to associate with the nearest Access Point. The SSID broadcast by the AP will be in the format "UWNet-buildingname." For example, "UWNet-UnionSouth" would be for Union South. Next, open your browser and go to any location. The portal will capture your session, authenticate you with your NetID, and then connect you back to your original destination.

A guest NET-ID have been created for all registered participants. You should find your NET-ID and password with your nametag.
